Rapture & Wright student placements

We are currently offering 1 week placements throughout the year in our print studio in Gloucestershire. Suitable for either textile students with a placement year or recently graduated textile students
We design and hand print upholstery fabrics and wallpapers in-house. The current work placements are for 1 week. The hours are 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday. 

The student will take on roles including setting up for printing fabric and wallpaper,  packing orders, helping clients select samples, sampling. Knowledge of screen printing is preferred but tuition will be given. Knowledge of colour mixing, material processes, handling of screens and other equipment will be gained from this placement experience. The small Rapture and Wright team are welcoming and friendly, and they are looking for a student who is energetic and keen to learn about the making and creation of interior design fabrics and wallpapers.

The placement student will need a car in order to commute to and from the studio and will need to find local accommodation. airbnb, spareroom.com and booking.com have quite a few places available in and around Moreton-in-Marsh.
