Founded in 2004 by Rebecca Aird and Peter Thwaites, Rapture & Wright was built on a simple idea: to celebrate craftsmanship and reconnect makers with customers. Today we are recognised by interior designers, architects and private clients globally for our distinctive, design-led aesthetic.

Over the past two decades, we have developed a pioneering production process that blends an Arts & Crafts heritage with modern values. As specialists in hand-printed fabric and wallpaper, we believe that how we make our products is as important as the finished article. Every stage, from the initial design concept to the final print, is considered, refined and shaped in-house by our studio process.
Responsibly Made
Central to Rapture & Wright’s pioneering production strategy is our studio and print workshop, powered by solar energy and supported by a ground breaking waste water system. Working closely with our British weavers and suppliers, we are committed to responsible production and the highest environmental and social standards.
Human Made
Screen printing by hand is a slow physical process that produces pure, rich colour and subtle variations, reflecting the skilled hands of our makers in every repeat. The process of making by hand has shaped and defined our brand and embodies all that the company has come to represent; celebrating craftsmanship and reinvigorating the creative connection between the maker and the customer.
