Cloud Garden
Inspired by the work of Ernest Gimson. This fabric was designed as part of the "Arts & Crafts House, then and now" exhibition at Compton Verney. This saw Rapture & Wright and fellow contemporary designer-makers such as Sebastian Cox and Andrew Wicks exhibit alongside the work of their Arts & Crafts forebears. Cloud Garden features some of the plants used by Dan Pearson, as part of his wildflower meadow at Compton Verney.
Hand-printed on linen in nine standard colourways. Also available in bespoke colour options.
Samples of our hand-printed fabric are A6 size. Samples of our larger designs may be greater in size to ensure that all the printed colours are shown. Returnable samples are approximately 50 cm x 50 cm.
Within the UK samples are sent First Class by post. Returnable samples are sent by next-day courier.
All our fabrics are hand-printed to order in our Cotswold print works in the heart of the United Kingdom. Lead times are usually about four weeks from receipt of payment. We do keep a small amount of capacity on the print schedule, so if you need a faster turnaround – let us know and we will do our best to expedite your order.
While we do our best to make sure that there is a precise uniformity of colours between print batches, there may be a slight variance because of natural variations in our base cloths.
If a precise match is required then we advise that you ask us to send a batch sample, which we will use as the approved colour standard. Alternatively please send a portion of your sample back to us. We will use this as a master sample when printing your order.
Orders of up to 10 m of our fabric can be ordered via our website.
For orders greater than ten meters of fabric please contact us via email with your order. We will require the design name, colour way, quantity, delivery address and a contact number for delivery. We will email you a pro forma invoice, including a lead-time for dispatch, once payment has been received.
Payment may be made by bank transfer or card payment over the telephone. Once we have received your payment, we will schedule your order to be printed.
We can and do ship our fabrics and wallpapers to all parts of the world.
No cancellations or returns are permitted once your order has been printed by Rapture & Wright. Returns will only be accepted if products are faulty or damaged on delivery. Any faults or damage must be reported within seven days of delivery.
Rapture & Wright will not accept returns from the customer if the product has been cut or processed in any way by the customer or a third party acting on the customer’s behalf.
All our fabrics are hand-printed products that will age beautifully with use. To preserve their quality we always recommend that these fabrics should be dry clean only.
Please be aware that continued exposure to very strong sunlight may affect some of the printed colours.
As we print everything to order, returns will only be accepted by us if we deem the products delivered to be faulty or damaged. Any faults or damage must be reported to us within seven days of delivery to you.
In the event that we deem the goods to be faulty, we are happy to replace them at no charge on a like for like basis as long as the faulty goods are returned within seven days of receipt.
